MS Project, PMP, Healthcare Experience
Our Corporate client in the Nashville TN area is seeking a Project Manager with 4-5 years of experience. Experience should include field deployment and clinical/hospital experience for a 6 month contract.
The Project Manager will responsible for:
- Managing IT projects including planning, execution, scheduling, and cost/budget development and tracking.
- Work with Business Owners, IT Product Owners, and Field to execute project plan.
- Work across the IT organization to prioritize and plan resource needs, acquire resources, and form project teams; estimate project schedule and costs; manage the work of team members, consultants, and vendors, to deliver IT products according to plan, schedule, and budget.
This is a customer facing role responsible for the full lifecycle from initiation through production turnover. The Project Manager is responsible for facilitating meetings, managing expectations, scope management, issue and risk management, frequent status reporting and overall responsibility for completing the project on time and within budget.
Other Requirements:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years proven project management skills/discipline in work planning, estimating/budgeting, resource planning, risk assessment, expectation management, scope and issue management with complex IT projects
- Strong written & verbal communications
- Strong command of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and MS Project.
- Ability to work with different levels of management throughout an organization, excellent customer focus, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is a must.
- Project Management certification preferred but not required.
- Previous consulting / outsourcing experience are preferred
- Candidate needs to have good interpersonal and leadership skills
