Our client, a top Healthcare company in the Nasvhille area, is searching for a Sr. Manager/Product Manager for this contract to hire position. The person in this role will ensure the functional area delivers its products and/or services effectively. Implementation and execution of repeatable and effective processes which deliver services and deploy solutions in the most time efficient manner with the highest level of quality at the lowest cost are key functions. Relationship building and management with key stakeholders, which include business, IT&S, vendors, and sourcing partners, is high on the list of priorities. He/she needs to possess a thorough understanding of IT project & software development life cycles, strong leadership, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills, solid communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff, including senior-level executives.

Candidates should have at least 7-10 years of information systems management and leadership experience, leading large, full life-cycle application development projects with a proven track record of execution and results. A demonstrated track record of leading IT product development staff in a dedicated service-oriented organization. Candidate must have strong .net development skills.
• Experience with management engineering/productivity software within a healthcare setting is also desirable.
• Experience in managing products and projects that include geographically dispersed resources, including off-shore software development, is desirable. A background working with and supporting a team in a fast paced, results oriented environment.
• 7+ years experience of management experience, having demonstrated the ability to motivate and inspire direct reports to high levels of critical thinking and performance.
• Experience with creation of Requests for Proposal, proposal analysis, Statement of Work development, and contract negotiations.
• Experience with staff recruitment and retention, merit/performance planning, career development, and coaching.
• Hands-on participation in resource planning with area leaders and allocation of resources to meet the demands of IT&S projects and intradepartmental efforts.
• Budget forecasting, development, and oversight.
• Proven project and performance management skills.
• Respect for diversity of experience, characteristics, viewpoints, and opinions. Coaching and mentoring ability
