We are seeking a Systems Business Analyst for a contract position with one of our large healthcare clients. The successful candidate will have 5+ years experience leading successful implementation of fixes, patches and version upgrades released by a vendor. Some responsibilities will be to manage and implement business maintenance requirements for the system in production including resolution of system issues, discovery of new configuration requirements and the configuration of constituent applications. You will be required to participate in vendor evaluations for products that are projected to deliver significant business value, require IT infrastructure changes, or present significant technical or operational risk. Additionally, you will apply an established understanding of how business practitioners utilize the product(s), by maintaining strong relationships with the business partners and product users.
This position requires a self-starter requiring minimal supervision. You will have good written and verbal communication as you will be working closely with business owners, developers and testers, etc. Strong organizational, documentation, and problem solving skills are essential. Plus, the role requires someone who can identify critical issues with ease and operate effectively while under pressure. Experience with case tools, product development or system testing would be a plus. Some technical background and understanding of databases and interfaces is required.
